JOIN EACH SUNDAY THIS YEAR AS WE STUDY THE GOSPEL OF LUKE!
Luke, “the beloved physician” (Colossians 4:14) among the apostles of Christ, authored his Gospel with the intent of providing "an orderly account” of the life and ministry of Jesus. Like every good doctor, he wanted those to whom he ministered to find healing and hope for their souls. He spoke with witnesses, researched the evidence and wrote the most accurate account about Christ he could so that “you may have certainty concerning the things you have been taught” about Him. (Luke 1:3-4)
The Christian faith is not based upon conjecture, hearsay or flemsy evidence. The New Testament Scriptures set forth the testimonies of eye-witnesses; Jesus’ own family members, His followers and the apostles themselves. These were the men who walked with the Son of God, became the ministers of His Word, and delivered His Gospel to the world. They were so committed to their Savior and Master that they gave their lives to ensure the preservation of the truth about Him among all the generations to follow in their footsteps.
Come with us this year as we walk through the life and ministry of Jesus as recorded in the Gospel of Luke. Learn of Jesus the words of life and the truth of His Word. Find with us greater confidence in Him and the hope He offers to all Who trust Him for salvation. He is sure to meet us as week walk this road of discovery and deepening faith together!
We look forward to you being with us for worship on Sundays this coming year!
